On both a firm and independent consultant basis we specialize in providing policy guidance on financial services, financial sector strengthening for financial cooperative regulation and supervision. Our clients include entities in the public, private and non-profit sectors.

We've strengthened financial systems through designing deposit insurance networks, consumer protection frameworks, risk-based supervisory frameworks for financial cooperatives and microfinance institutions (MFIs).

We have developed national strategies for central banks, and for cooperative financial institutions in the UK, Australia and Caribbean.

We have delivered policy solutions for associations of financial cooperatives and MFIs regarding Basel III capital frameworks, liquidity management and resource sharing through collaboration.

Our philosophy is best described by the following story. A dozen years ago Dave Grace co-presented in Canada with an old curmudgeon bureaucrat from the Canadian International Development Agency. Being quite confident Dave felt he had nothing to learn from him and began espousing his great wisdom. To which the Canadian replied, "our single greatest failing in international development is we begin programs with the answer already set in our minds." Dave has never forgotten that lesson.
